Property Maintenance and Cartage in Dunedin

We carry out a range of general repairs and maintenance tasks on residential properties. This includes minor building repairs, shed and outbuilding maintenance, gutter and downpipe work, replacing fixtures, and the kind of accumulated odd jobs that build up on most properties over time.

Dunedin has a large stock of older homes — character villas, bungalows, and mid-century houses — that need regular upkeep. Many of these jobs do not justify calling a specialist tradesperson but still need to be done properly. Replacing a rotten piece of weatherboard, fixing a gate that does not close, repairing a retaining wall that is starting to lean, or sorting out a section of damaged fencing are all typical work for us.

We bring the same approach to handyman work as we do to our landscaping and earthmoving: assess the job, give you an honest idea of what is involved, quote a fair price, and do the work to a standard we are comfortable putting our name to.

Our tipper truck is available for general cartage and delivery across the Dunedin area. This includes delivering bulk materials — soil, gravel, bark, mulch, and sand — as well as removing waste material from sites.

Cartage often runs alongside our other services. An earthmoving job generates spoil that needs to be removed. A landscaping job needs topsoil or mulch delivered. A section tidy-up produces green waste that needs to go to the transfer station. Having the truck as part of our operation means these jobs flow without needing a separate cartage contractor.

The truck is also available as a standalone service for customers who simply need something moved. If you have a load of soil, gravel, green waste, demolition waste, old fencing, or general rubbish that needs carting, we can handle it. We deal with disposal at the appropriate facility.
